Resignation Letter Template

A resignation letter template is a brief letter formally advising your employer that you are leaving your job. Mostly, these letters are handed over to the boss or HR officer by the candidate well before his last day as per the policies of the organization. This resignation letter should include details of the resignation, like date and reason for leaving. Like other sample letters, an “I quit” letter will include the name, mailing address, phone number, and email address of both the writer and recipient. Moreover, a statement of purpose must be included in this letter, which is also known as the subject of the letter, and it must be signed by the employee. With the help of a resignation letter, you maintain a positive relationship with your old employer by leaving with a strong and positive final impression, while also paving the way for you to move on.

How to Write a Resignation Letter?

A professional resignation letter is frequently used by an employee to let the employer know the fact that you are going to quit the job and will soon join another organization. In simple words, submitting a resignation letter means an employee is leaving an organization due to certain factors. If the immediate supervisor or the human resource department accepts your reasons for quitting and resolves them, then the same employee will withdraw his or her resume. However, if the organization refuses to resolve issues, then employees can complete the notice period and can join other organizations.
